So

why did the BBC create Future World Design? Well, so, you know, BBC means so much to so many different people.

And I think BBC R&D in particular, which is the department within which BBC Future World Design or BBC Forward, as we like to call it, lives.

BBC R&D is a treasure trove, honestly, Bernard.

And For me, I grew up in a council flat in North London with four channels in the 90s and 80s and 90s.

And two of those channels were the BBC, BBC one and two.

And everything I kind of fell in love with from sports to entertainment, to music, to, you know, even just current events and everything I learned kind of came through those four channels and predominantly the BBC channel.

Why are they important and why do we need to think about them right from the beginning when we think about AI?
