So really, really interesting to hear that you moved on to Investors Chronicle and what inspired you to move across there?

So actually, there's a gap.

After I spent time in an investment bank, I really got to know how deals were being done.

And they are done quite differently in emerging countries and emerging economies.

And I just didn't like it.

I wanted more transparency.

I wanted to... evangelize all that is good which is something that I think you want to do when you're in your 20s and I wrote to the editor of their version of the FT out there and you know oh I want to do this I want to do that so I went and I had a meeting with them they said this is fine you can do this of course I have pretty good English because it's called here but you're not going to get paid like a banker so that's fine that's fine I'm gonna do so I started actually my journalism life in KL writing for a which is in Malaysia and Singapore.
