Oh, God, it's different to what it is now, for sure.

So when I first started writing the proposal, I remember my agent being like, "Okay, do you think you can get a proposal done by Christmas?" And this was in like October or something, and I was ...

And my son was just starting to settle at nursery, and I was thinking, "Flipping heck.

Uh, yes." You know, I was just like, "Whatever.

I'll just say yes." And so my son was settling at nursery.

That took ages.

Um, how did you deal with that transition?
