Um, what did you find about how much things have shifted on Israel in, in the poll?

Maher BitarGUEST
So we approached this asking essentially two sets of questions here 'cause we wanted to understand also where the public is broadly on questions around whether or not to withhold military, uh, uh, assistance and weapon sales, um, or whether to continue those without conditions.

Maher BitarGUEST
And, uh, so, so the findings I think are actually really interesting and demonstrate that there is a bipartisan consensus here, uh, on broader questions, and then I'll get to Israel and Palestine in a second.

Maher BitarGUEST
But on the broader question, we found across the board, Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, broad support for conditioning military assistance- Either to prevent the misuse of our own weapons, um, or, um, uh, also to shape the behavior of the countries receiving potential military assistance or weapons from the United States.

Maher BitarGUEST
We had about twenty percent or so, um, across the board, across Democrats, Independents, and Republicans, who actually want us to just end military assistance to other countries outright.

Maher BitarGUEST
And then, um, a smaller proportion who want us to continue providing weapons to other countries with no conditions and no restrictions, which I think demonstrates the fact that there is actually broad support for, uh, ensuring that the United States builds in accountability to the way in which it's supporting other countries, uh, or providing weapons to other countries.
Ben RhodesHOST
What, what's the third way [chuckles] that starts to a-appear in this public opini-- Where do you think people are on that question?
