Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard

And something that we talk about a lot is the, again, forgive our technical term of the Riordanverse of madness.

which is a large mixed up pantheon of gods from the Kane Chronicles to Magnus Chase to even this is mentioned by the great scholar Gracie Kim in her Rick Riordan Presents series of the Gifted Clans trilogy that when they go to the underworld in that book, they say that the underworld appears different to people based on their own cultural context.

And this is also mentioned in the Lightning Thief.

So when we read books written by Rick Riordan, we explicitly read everything personally into kind of this like Riordan verse of madness.

If given the opportunity, they would rather die than be trapped in one fixed form, basically.

There's a character in Rick Riordan's Norse mythology series, Magnus Jason, the Gods of Asgard, who is a child of Loki.

Mm-hmm.

And so Shapeshift, their name is Alex Fierro, and they are both...

So I'm not surprised that they would look at his other stories that actually kind of do merge in and go and say, hey, what if we did Kane? Or what if we did, you know, there's like an Apollo series, I think, too.

Yeah, Magnus Chase.

Magnus, yeah.

Oh, I did read the first one of Magnus.
