Wade overturned?
9:46
Well, I remember I was sitting in my couch with my computer constantly refreshing, refreshing, refreshing.
9:54
Like I didn't want to miss the moment.
9:57
And instantly when I saw it, I thought, am I reading this right? You know, do I see this? Are my eyes deceiving me? And then it was just like just instant tears.
10:11
Oh, yeah.

1:41
From your perspective, leading post-life advocates, how would you say the pro-life movement in Iowa has shifted and where are you seeing real momentum from? right now in the pro-life movement?
1:52
Yeah, so you're right.
1:54
It's been four years since the Dobbs decision, which was the decision that reversed Roe v.
2:01
Wade, which, of course, was the decision that legalized abortion in our country.
2:06
And so, you know, that's been a huge, huge celebration, one that, you know, many of us who've been in the movement didn't know we'd ever see the day that that would be overturned.

And what that did is it shifted abortion law decisions in terms of regulating abortion or in some cases eliminating abortion back to the individual states as to how you navigate that.
2:32
So there's pros and cons to that because what that means is you have states like Minnesota and Illinois and California and New York who have almost become sanctuary cities for abortion because they have had unlimited abortion with no restrictions.
4:23
So could you speak to a little bit about the Iowa March for Life coming up? What can people expect this year? How can they learn more about attending the march and to truly be someone on the front lines, helping to bring awareness, but also join the fight and the cause for pro-life advocacy?
