So talk to me about why you decided to diversify your income and how does that split generally look today?

So as a creator, you have incredible opportunities to earn money, specifically in brand deals and an affiliate.

However, as someone who's been doing this for a long time now, I have been in this industry for a decade and I have been making money, I guess, for 10, nine years.

I realized when I started doing this full time, which was three years ago, that it was time for me to look into other ways of making this business a proper business.

If you're working in a company, you always try to find ways to diversify your different income streams.

You never want to be reliable fully on just one, because what if something happens and that income stream is basically cut off? What do you do? If your whole life is dependent on just one income stream and that suddenly disappears, what are you going to do? So I wanted to basically like future-proof myself and future-proof the business because at the end of the day, being a content creator is amazing, but you never know what's going to happen.

I grew up making YouTube videos and all that, so for me it made complete sense to do exactly what I did.

Um, but I think you don't necessarily need to.

There's also been a little bit of backlash I've seen recently with creators starting brands and, and, um, like, if the creator does something wrong, then the whole brand kind of falls with them.

Basically meaning that when we sold out in the end of April, I had no stock coming in- And then I had to do everything all over again.
