How do you feel like maybe you are now as an artist than before when you were on the show? How do you feel like you maybe have changed since then?

I have completely changed.

I mean, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

I don't know when this segment with the interview is going to be released, but I mean, literally today, as we were speaking, today was the day I did my blind audition, one year in.

Oh, wow.

That's cool.

And it is just so surreal even looking back.

Were you surprised that you were on his team? What do you think he understood about what you were doing and how you did it that crossed genre lines that made you guys be on his team?

Did they come to you or did you submit to them?

Yeah, so I have actually auditioned for The Voice since I was like 14 years old, just doing different things.

And, you know, I would always like make it a little step further.

but not always, not quite to where I needed to be.

And so, you know, I had auditioned for quite a bit and then I just kind of took a break from it.

I was like, you know, I really want to just start, you know, growing myself as an artist, you know, working with a band, working on writing things, working on just my music in general and that kind of stuff.

And then of course, moving to Nashville three years ago, I was doing all that.

And then after... being on the boys, did you change your look or makeup in any way?

And for those that

didn't get the chance to watch my audition, I was the very last person picked.

So I was the last person that got to audition that made a team and I closed out the whole thing.

So basically the day I was auditioning, I was like, I don't care.

who turns like you know it's just an honor to even be a part of the audition process but i mean to even make a team is just like the cherry on top so in the beginning especially doing different b-roll and talking to the production and everything they ask you of course like oh who would you like to be on as far as a team.

And of course I, in the beginning did want to be on team Reba because I felt like it would have been a very natural connection just to both of us being country artists and everything like that.

But I did tell them if I didn't get the chance to be with Reba, that I have always loved Snoop.

Besides the show, what are you working on now? And what doors have opened up for you from the show? So,
