Yeah.
30:09
And rather than that being something that, like- ... fixed a problem [laughs] and shut everybody up.
30:14
It stokes a fire, and it's just, uh, it, it's, uh, just nicer to, to move, um, swiftly and with tactics rather than broadcasting l- what, what the, your intention is.
30:29
I would always rather that the, the effect of my, um, body of work and, you know, even interviews like th- this are enough information.
30:40
I don't have to guide people's-

... that the response isn't that?
40:12
... let's make a really shitty...
40:13
No, it'll be make, let's make a really shitty rom-com that doesn't do well, that's, like, just the product of a bunch of notes, and then never make it again.
6:36
Mm.
6:37
I was just gonna say, as a Canadian, it's, like, s- to say Canadian culture doesn't really encapsulate what Newfoundland is, 'cause I grew up in Vancouver, and it doesn't bear any similarity to Newfoundland.
6:47
It's such a specific, unique place that's, like, c- culture is born out of its isolation, and being on the sea, and being in this...
6:54
I mean, it's, you've, I've- it's as far away from home as I could get while still being in Canada.
7:00
So it's a really, really special place, and it's so nice to be part of something that's, um, showcasing its, its extraordinary beauty and culture.
7:23
... is that what you look into at all?
7:25
Um, well, she's a marine biologist, [laughs] so she's not a crypt- what is it? A, a cryptids? Cryptid-todology? Um, so I don't believe in that, but I do believe in psychics.

6:30
But I respect the lifestyle a lot.
7:45
Really.
7:45
No, I mean, I think it's very intimidating doing an accent so specific and without a lot of precedent in pop culture, and I was shocked at how good these two guys were at this.
17:54
What was he like as a scene partner when you're, when he's bouncing between these tones and you're trying to do your thing? I mean, how is it bouncing off of each other?
18:03
Uh, it was great.
18:04
I just really like Josh and I liked him as a person, which is a gift when, when that happens easily and without you having to be really, like- ... muscular about being like, "Ugh, God, I have to figure out how to work with this person for the next age." Um, he's like a really lovely guy, and he's a great actor and really holds himself to a high standard, which I think sets a great tone on set.
18:31
So no matter what the thing was that he was trying to achieve, if it was a comedy beat or a dramatic-

25:04
Oh, cool
25:04
... what was happening to me.
25:06
Um, but there's just a, a, a, like, hushed reverence to the set that Denis and Roger run, where we're here to do a job and not dick around.
25:19
And when the actors have the set, everybody is silent, and when the crew has the set, everybody is silent so that they can do their work and communicate.
