You've been proactive about this.
5:12
Yeah, we've been, I've been proactive with organizations like the community I'm from, Ketledichi First Nation.
5:18
You know, we've laid our our own one-kilometer fiber optic testbed for the community in 2009, which was federally funded by CANNOR back in the day when fiber was becoming the go-to infrastructure for Indigenous communities.
5:38
But the problem with that project was we were still stranglehold in the community by an outside provider like Bell and TELUS.
5:48
who weren't willing to lease infrastructure to provide better services on the First Nation to provide, probably first in the North, fiber to the home in the Northwest Territories.

And so it was those kind of projects, you know, again, back in the day, which was myself um key partners like evsl canada they don't exist now but also other partners in the east that were teaching us how to what fiber is the value of fiber why it's so important and and so we started to learn about lane and building fiber optic networks and and it just became uh Such an innovative idea where in oil and gas, you got to do similar constructs, similar idea when you're laying small diameter pipelines throughout Alberta.
6:47
You know, the environmental assessments for those things are what? three-inch binders, 27 volumes of environmental assessments, EIAs throughout Alberta, because I worked in the oil and gas industry and understand the whole process.
