Has that character changed as you've changed over the years?

Yeah, it does.

It's changed a lot now because I'm in a pretty powerful position of influence and there's a lot of responsibility with that, like our demographic.

Pretty much like we've just been on this world tour coming up to three years and we've played everywhere from Georgia and the Black Sea to Croatia to Slovakia, Slovenia, Romania to...

You know, Halifax, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, everywhere.

And it's just the demographics gone from five-year-olds to 90-year-olds.

So it's a lot of different lifestyles and characters and personas.

How did that friendship start and is it true there's a rumour going around that you guys buried some of your demos in a graveyard?

It's kind of, I got quite emotional last night on stage in Austin because you just stop for a second and think, wow.

You know, when I was back in Perth, I used to dream about, I used to say in high school, you know, I'm going to sell a million records and tour the world.

And we're doing that now playing to these stadiums and it's just amazing.

Mich fasziniert es Tag für Tag, welche Lieder Hits werden und welche du Menschen vorspielst, die schon mittendrin wieder zu ihrem Handy greifen oder sich fragen, was es zum Abendessen gibt.
