How do you imagine that you will deploy the aircraft initially? Will we see you starting out with cargo ops and then moving into passenger, because it can carry up to six passengers? How do you see that balance progressing between pax and cargo?
4:34
So I think even now we're starting to get interest, uh, from various, uh, parts of the country looking at our decision to move into this technology.
4:43
Um, and the, the early adoption of this aircraft and this vehicle is likely to be in the cargo or freight environment.
4:51
Uh, the case for the passengers is obviously to be, to be discussed further with Beta at this point in time.
4:56
Um, but we see a, a definite case to move on short distances, uh, highly sensitive, highly important cargo loads, particularly potentially medical supplies.
5:06
You could even move that and extend that to blood transportation, to organ transportation.
5:11
Um, and if, in, in a, a different configuration, you could argue it could be used in a medevac-type situation as well.

12:46
What are your plans on that front? How do you see that evolving?
11:31
Why are you betting your money on an electric future?
11:35
So I think we all have to bet on an electric future in some regard when it comes to aviation.
11:40
We have a network which lends itself to short distances, but we have, uh, a community-type approach, which allows us to feed the smaller aircraft, uh, on shorter distance routes, and we allow ourselves the luxury of remaining current with the next generational requirements.
11:58
Because if you think about aviation as a, um, a fossil fuel led type industry- That has to come to an end at some point.
12:06
So there has to be a better solution.
12:07
There has to be a cleaner solution, there has to be a greener solution, and we believe beta technologies represent that option for us at this stage of our evolution.

15 MINS LATER

27:16
Mm.
27:16
And there are things that we can all do as individuals as well.
5:19
Between two points called
5:21
Westray and Papa Westray in the Orkney Isle.
5:25
So these are lifeline services.
5:27
These are services that keep teachers and pupils connected.
5:32
We fly the vet, the doctor, the midwife.
5:34
We fly newborn babies to and from their hospital where they're born on the mainland.
5:37
Wow.

9 MINS LATER

14:42
How do you balance all this? And is there going to be one dominant strategy going forward for you?
