And this really motivates not only the, let's say, the particular supply-side climate policies that we were seeing, but also, um, a different thinking and a mindset, uh, for the future in terms of, um, economic alternatives to fossil fuels.
28:30
So if we turn to Denmark then, there are some similarities with, with, um, well, with actually with both with Costa Rica and with Colombia.
28:39
But of course, Denmark is in a quite different position if we think about the global political economy, its, its position within that, uh, and its kind of state capacity, uh, the political culture, role of social movements, the relationship between capital and labor.
28:55
So to just briefly touch on, on various of these dimensions, I forgot to say as well, Denmark of course quite significant on this question of supply-side policy because it's the largest producer in the European Union and, um, uh, thanks to, thanks to Brexit.
29:12
Um, before Brexit it was the, it was the UK, but even per capita, the Danish production is sort of similar to, to British production.
29:20
So, you know, we're talking about not on a global scale a, a major producer, but nevertheless certainly the, on the European continent, but, um, also globally, you know, nevertheless a, a producer of, of some stature, and certainly a sector of oil and gas that has contributed quite significantly to state revenue since, uh, production began in the, in the '70s.
29:43
So I guess the kind of immediate drivers of, of why this came about were around, uh, social movement pressure played a major role.

Um, I would say to the government rather to the, to the state itself.
