Unas semanas antes de viajar al Centro Espacial Kennedy desde Houston, Luis nos contaba más sobre su trabajo y la nave Orion.

En ese cargo, las áreas más importantes es el diseño, la fabricación y la prueba de todos los componentes que se integran a la parte de, del vehículo de Orion.

Tiene sistemas nuevos que no han sido integrados en otras naves espaciales.

Es una nave que tiene una capacidad que ninguna otra nave tiene de llevar tripulantes alrededor de la Luna y regresarlos en una misión.

Aunque la misión de Artemis II tiene una planeación de diez días, la capacidad del siste-- de los sistemas de, de Orion es de veintiún días, que fue probada en la misión previa de Artemis I.

Orion cuenta con dos módulos: el de la tripulación, donde viajaron los astronautas, la cápsula que vimos amerizar en el Pacífico a su regreso; y el módulo de servicio.

El módulo de la tripu-tripulación tiene sistemas de apoyo vital para que tengan el ambiente necesario, el oxígeno necesario y la eliminación de dióxido de carbono para sostener la vida, eh, o las personas en esa misión.

Y hay sistemas de navegación para controlar la nave.
