Which of the following statements is a true wow about a challenge in my life? Is it A, I broke my arm while playing lacrosse? Is it B, I was born three months early, so I couldn't leave the hospital? Or is it C, I helped my mom change a busted car tire in the rain?

So tell me more about this wig-themed birthday party.

So we got a bunch of plastic mannequin heads, and we put the wigs on top.

And then me and my friends could brush them, and then cut their hair if we wanted.

And we got a whole bunch of hair accessories that we could do to their hair.

[laughs] So I was wondering if you could tell us about where your own sewing journey began.

Yeah, sure.

So I was thinking about this this morning actually, and I thought, I think a lot of people you speak to probably were into sewing, and then the business developed out of that.

But it was kind of the other way around for me.

So the usual, sort of made a tea cozy and a peg bag at school when I was about 12.

Vague memories of, like, a My Little Pony sewing machine at some point when I was a kid, and then didn't really do anything then after that.

From the age of about 12 onwards, I've, I've always been creative and I've always enjoyed, like, artistic things, but the sewing kind of just fell by the wayside.

Um, but I was wondering, what do you think you get personally from, like, teaching people techniques or how to sew, or sharing all the knowledge that you've gained?

So does anyone wanna have a go at defining karma? What do we think karma means?

My understanding of karma is the wrapping around our soul, that it's what, um, separates us from at one with the divine.

Will you set the scene for us? What are you, what are you looking at right now?

Sure.

Um, well, we just passed some neighbors on our right, and we're walking our block.

It's a canopied street, which is something that we love, gorgeous oaks in Florida.

But yeah, our neighborhood is really nice.

It's got...

It's my favorite lighting, which is summer lighting, where it's, like, blue light, golden hour, um, dusk, and then everybody's out walking or coming home from work.

... adding [laughs] nuts and seeds onto anything I possibly could.

Because the gamification of the app, like you have to, you know, work up to 30 plants a week, I was like, "Well, I could do 40.

I could do 50." So I was like, "Watch this." And then I was, like, really going for it, which was great.

It made me feel great, but definitely there was an element of bloating there.

Then I sort of, like, calmed it down a bit, and I think because I'd been eating that well and that many plants, I naturally made the decisions to eat well.

So I think, like, a really standout moment for me was o- on one of the days of filming, I was off work, and then my girls were gonna come round, um, for a little girly evening.

What were you worried about going in, and then what was the reality once you started to do this?

Yeah.

It will be, like, this is incredibly cliche.

It is very difficult because this kind of trauma can not only trigger genetic, uh, disorders, but it can cause disorders itself, which makes it much harder to get through life.

There are resources, and hopefully they will be more accessible in the future.

The impact of his abuse reached into every part of her life.

If I had known what to expect, whether it be just, "Hey, here, memory loss is a usual symptom of this," and being educated on how this could affect my relationships and intimacy-

I'm curious if you have thoughts on what you've learned in moving through this experience, um, lessons you've learned that you'd want others to know about, about how toMove through something like this and, and keep getting out there as I know you both have?

I don't really know how to move through it, but it's...

Yeah, I feel like it still lives in my body, and that fear has definitely changed me.

But it's been nice to have friends and community, and there's been a lot of like free sort of like body work, and I tried acupuncture for the first time, which was really nice.

Yeah, just having people that have your back and knowing that like you're not alone in this.

Like since we've been arrested, there's been hundreds of people in the same exact boat as us, and yeah, it feels good to know we're not an outlier here.

But I was born in Chicago, raised here in, um, the Twin Cities.

Do you know who else were was arrested that day?

There was two people arrested on June third.

They were both arrested in the same interaction with a police officer.

A, a young woman was standing in front of a police vehicle, and an officer approached her, like, super rapidly.

And then someone approached that officer, and from the video it seems like that person ripped off a thin blue line lapel Velcro from the officer, and then that officer proceeded to assault that person.

And then that person was accused of assault.

And then my federal charges, the government has motioned to dismiss them, but we are motioning to dismiss them with prejudice.

It just sucks.

I mean, there's lots of ways of doing things, but likeI don't wanna be afraid that I need to call my pretrial release person every time a cop talks to me.

Like, I don't know, like, I...

Not that I interact with cops all the time, but I'm in Minneapolis, and, like, I keep talking to the probation guy about this.

I'm like, "You know, if a cop drives by me, is that a police interaction? If I'm on the street and the fucking feds are in, in the street in front of my house, is that a police interaction?" Like, it just makes you so stressed out.

Like, Rene Good was shot in front of me, and it's like, like, normally I'm not the kind of person that runs away from a situation like that.

I think it captures some feeling of being here.

It was a decision Lucy had to make, and one that Lars understood and supported.

He was so sad, but he said, "This is good for you.

You need to do this, bub." He always called me bub.

"I wanna see you go out with your friends.

It's awful seeing you not living a full life because you're looking after me.

I wanna see you travel.

Now I'm starting to think it's never gonna get better for me, but you can, and you should," you know.

The cancer has bided into surrounding areas of the brain, and attempting surgery would've destroyed the little healthy tissue Lars had left.

Why is it called the White Witch?

Because it was the murder of a woman who was believed to be a witch, and she was a white woman.

And the whole case had to do, it was these two Seneca Native women who were on trial for this murder, and it incorporates some witchcraft.

It incorporates basically the way that this white witch woman, she was French, so she was born in France, she moved to New York, um, and she was killed by a Seneca tribal healer.

Her name was Nancy Bowen.

And Nancy came to the conclusion that this French woman was a witch and that she was trying to kill Nancy, or at least members of her community.

So she knocked on her door one night and beat her to death with a h- hammer, and then put a chloroform-soaked rag in her mouth, I guess maybe to, like, finish her off maybe.

But long story shortShe's taken away, and then of course she's deceased.

Will the number of people who want to go to his concerts go up or down?

I really want to go to a Sam Smith concert, but the tickets have already sold out.

Sometimes when that happens, they increase the number of concert dates.

... to be honest about it because, like, it's like my, you know, my parents of all people, they just get really worried, and I understand why, and I just don't wanna worry them.

Um, but yeah, I have gone outside.

Um, and I've know- I know that I have b- for things like, um, I've woken up and, and had basically, like, dirt or m- you know, footprints from my garden into my house and into my bed.

[laughs] Or, uh, or I've woken up and, like, both the locks were unlocked and, you know, s- some evidence was like you went outside, like something from inside is outside or something from outside is inside, like a, a rock or something that [laughs] like lives on the ground outside [laughs] um, I've brought in.

When I realized that that was something I was capable of doing while sleepwalking, I did eventually get an outdoor Ring camera, which I didn't have before, just because I, I wanna know if I leave my house.

Um, another reason I r- don't bring that up to my mom is because she is terrified that I'm gonna drive somewhere.

Mm-hmm.

So small town emerge, someone comes into triage after biking in from a neighboring community.

It's like a 15-minute drive, so it's not a short bike.Comes in not really saying much, not making great eye contact, being a little elusive, just repeating that he wants to see a doctor.

We try and obtain a little bit more pertinent information, the triage process is important, and only get out of them, "Pain back there."

[laughs]

Yeah, so he could feel it a little bit, but obviously a vacuum can't suction to that small of a piece and that piece of plastic, whatever it might have been.

It took a lot of convincing and encouraging, but he really needed to go to the city to have a procedure to get it removed.

The other concern with the imaging was there's free air on the x-ray, which means something might have perforated.
