So Farmers Aid, what is it and how does it work in practice? And also, how could it have helped Ben in the same situation?

Yes, so Farmers Aid is our new app that our ABI, the Farmers Charity, has just launched.

It's to help people with step-by-step guidance for those serious on-farm accidents, the accidents that only really happen on farms, the niche things like getting your arm stuck in a baler, for example, or being crushed by an animal.

They're not the kind of things that are generally included in a general first aid app.

It's not to replace the emergency services, it's to buy more time before the emergency services arrive.

So we know that because of the rural locations of many farms and other countryside areas, It takes a lot longer for the emergency services to arrive.

So it's very, very important to have some knowledge and some skill for bystanders and those first responders to do something in those first few minutes before the emergency services arrive.
