She first became interested in crop circles when she moved to Hampshire in the 1980s.

I moved house and I came into this area in Hampshire, um, in the end of 1988, and that was about when the, the early ones were sort of breaking cover and people were starting to talk about them.

And in '89, I think I probably went to my first one, '89 or '90, and I found that I was [laughs] right spot in the middle of, of the area where they were happening in Hampshire.

So this was all a great thrill.

It's a crop circle called the Jaw Dropper, which is made up of 409 circles in a spiral pattern.

Here's something to ponder.

If this formation was manmade, allowing for time to get into and out of the field under cover of darkness, the construction time left would be about four hours.

Given that there are over 400 circles, in fact, there were 409, some of which span approximately 70 foot in diameter, that would mean that one of those circles would need to be created every 30 seconds, and that's not even allowing for any time for the surveying, purely flattening.
