It- if it grabs you by your heart, it's doing its job, right?
2:25
Yeah.
2:25
Look, I mean, AI as a medium, uh, is new.
2:29
Uh, it is politically charged, and I think many people watch these videos, and they rapidly make mental models to try and understand them and slot them into a partisan political camp that they already belong to.
2:41
And so the reaction that we saw from the video yesterday was really split along political lines.
2:47
Build Canada is a non-partisan, uh, organization, uh, so, so we, you know...
2:52
The messages we put out are fundamentally focused on, uh, pro-growth and what is needed in order to, uh, build more quickly and more ambitiously in Canada.
6:51
Is that, was that the goal?
7:14
C- can you unpack that a little bit? I think it's a really interesting perspective.
7:17
It's such an important topic, and I think that, you know, this, you know, how Canada positions itself on AI and how we, um, you know, whether we, uh, go for gold or aim to win, a lot of that actually does come down to trust and public perception.
7:32
And there is this 79%, uh, figure in, uh, the piece we put out over the weekend.
7:38
So 79% of Canadians, um, you know, don't trust AI.
7:43
People want higher taxes on companies that use AI, um, to replace workers.
7:50
Um, you know, there's a, there's a whole, uh, bunch of anxiety out there.
7:55
Um, but I, if you look at that anxiety and, and really think about where does that come from, I don't think that that is an anxiety about how AI works.

So talk a bit about what you think we ought to be doing and perhaps what the, the government did or did wrong as part of its strategy.
