What happens when you do feel that? Do you say, "Okay, no, I can't do it at all," or is there another way of kind of dealing with that?
8:02
I think that, um, it's an ongoing journey, and so, you know, the heart is both good and, and bad all at the same time.
8:11
So we're new creations, we're filled with the Spirit, we're walking with God, we're in relationship with Him, but sometimes we can have this wrestle over ourselves.
8:21
And obviously, within the context that we're living in, there's a lot of comparison that can come into view.
8:25
Like, you look at what other people are doing, you can aspire something because you see someone else doing it.
8:30
And so that whole thing about God looking at the heart before what the man sees is really important.
8:36
I think if you're in an ongoing relationship with God, you know, we all recognize that we have moments in our lives where we go, "Oh, no, I've done it again," or, "I've thought this again," or, "I've desired this the wrong, with the wrong reasons." And really, it's about relationship with God and understanding that we're on a journey, so there's room for forgiveness, there's room to repent for that, be forgiven for that, but also recognize the calling that God has placed on your, your life, and that you're working that out.
