So I see it all the time, but why do you feel so many business owners ignore their own health and habits until things like start breaking?
11:53
Yeah, I think that, you know, when you run a business, right, you're a different breed of human and you will prioritise income generating activities over things like self-care.
12:10
You know, you will push, you will hustle and we've been conditioned socially to to have to push through right but you know when we're talking about preventing burnout really because this is one of the biggest things having worked with business owners having been running businesses for you know 30 years uh you know burnout is actually incredibly preventable and it's really it's really about you know self-awareness I think to begin with and and honesty and you One of the things I get people to do is just to check in regularly and not just with their KPIs, you know, like they're looking at numbers.
12:47
But let's use that as a transferable skill set because if you're really resilient and really good at pushing through when times are tough and pivoting and making changes and adjustments to your business, then you can actually use that skill set in your personal space.
12:59
So, you know, how's your energy? Pretty easy one on a scale of 1 to 10.
13:04
Where is it from? Holy fuck.
13:06
Sorry.

Well, I'd love to just hear a little bit more about you, if you don't mind just telling the audience sort of who you are and what you do.
0:54
So it's interesting, the fitness industry kind of found me in my, in my 30s.
0:58
I was going through some really difficult stuff in my life, and I'd been in the fitness industry doing group fitness, working with clients for, for a very, very long time prior to my life imploding, and it's, it's been a really, really great journey.
1:13
I mean, for me, fitness, uh, nutrition, and all of the things that I coach were really a part of my own healing journey, and then, and turning that into an ability to help other people, um, as a consequence of my own lived experience and all of my study, was actually quite a blessing.
1:28
I, I feel like I'm in exactly the direction that I need to be in, but, uh, it's been very difficult to encapsulate exactly what I do for people as a single title, 'cause it's, it's way more beyond fitness, it's way more beyond nutrition.
1:42
Uh, and so I coined the term The Mojo Mentor, um, which I trademarked, and it's interesting because, you know, people had been coming to me for a very, very long time saying, you know, "I just, I just feel blah, and I wanna get my mojo back." And so it kind of just went from there organically.
1:57
And, you know, I work with really, really busy, overwhelmed, typically neurodiverse individuals who might be killing it on paper, um, you know, in, in the, in the life that they live on the front end.
