Yeah, I was probably more of a statement really, but really any type of delay in accessing care is ultimately a patient safety risk to some extent.

Louise MoodyGUEST
And we probably often think more about those treatment delays, but it is accessing the actual service, whether that be due to parking, due to cost of fuel.

Louise MoodyGUEST
So I think it's a really interesting conversation around particularly for rural, regional, remote patients.

Louise MoodyGUEST
I was just wondering in terms of, say, that patient safety or the clinical risk, was there sort of key findings that came out through the scoping review in terms of how those delays in accessing treatment, accessing nutrition care might have impacted on their cancer treatment or their longer term outcomes?

with my dietitian hat on i would 100 agree with with everyone should have access to at least consistent messaging around um nutrition in while undergoing cancer treatment it is vital for everyone and i'm sure most or hopefully all listeners to the podcast are aware of that, but there's some really great work happening in Australia and overseas in that space at the moment.

Louise MoodyGUEST
Something, Mary, that really stood out in the paper for me was the interconnected nature of the barriers that you found.
