What do you think is the biggest challenge for small creative businesses at the moment with their marketing?
2:19
Oh, this is such a good question, because yesterday, as you said, I was I was in London yesterday speaking to businesses and they were it was called Great British Pitch USA.
2:30
It was about talking to businesses, small businesses who want to pitch to American businesses.
2:35
and in my audience I had a woman who is a farmer who has created overalls for women like I was like this is so genius she's designed overalls for women in agriculture so when you're going to the bathroom you can you know, organize much more efficient.
2:53
A lady who was a hairdresser and then people who are in more online businesses, kind of like in my more like the professional services type businesses.
3:03
And one of the things I said, and you're so right, I always, I give it warts and all at this stage.
3:11
It doesn't even matter who's in the audience.

So sorry, go on the wheels, tell
2:57
Alright, so what exactly then is the problem or problems that you solve for your ideal clients?
3:04
I think a lot of people have a LinkedIn account, but when they set it up, it might've been, you know, five, seven, eight years ago.
3:12
And LinkedIn has changed massively, especially really actually in the last six months, it's become completely different place because of the way it's built behind the scenes.
3:21
It's very much, configured by AI.
3:25
Now people think, oh, AI, she's saying, we're not talking about people who ask ChatGPT to write their LinkedIn posts for them.
3:33
That is not the AI with LinkedIn that I work on.
3:36
I work on how to understand how LinkedIn now works with AI in the backend.
5:38
okay excellent thank you very sound and solid advice there because otherwise linkedin i i'm on it quite a lot it's getting very brutal out there you really do need to have a much better understanding than you used to of it it's not very forgiving otherwise so now that we have a little bit of a better understanding of what you do and i stress a little bit i only gave you three minutes that's on me so let's dive briefly into goal busting which is focusing on how to maximize productive time to achieve your business goals Could you share any tips or advice, Louise, for someone looking to improve their productivity habits, please?
5:06
Can you talk about these sort of three areas of focus and how you teach people to elevate their visibility? And there's something there about, you know, not wanting to post and the discomfort and how they get over that.
5:20
So my favorite way to explain LinkedIn to people who maybe aren't that familiar with it or who are like, oh, it's something I have to do, but I don't really want to.
5:30
If you think about it as being like going to an industry conference, so say, let's say I'm an author and I talk about manufacturing, manufacturing processes, or maybe I talk about historical fiction.
5:46
Treat LinkedIn as though it is like your favorite conference or event that you want to attend.
5:52
If you're going to go to that event, you're going to...
5:55
Do you say spruce yourself up in America? I'm not sure.
5:58
Yeah, sure.
