I did learn a lot.

Obviously, moving abroad.

Thankfully, I had my family move with me, which was very helpful and allowed me to settle in quicker.

But it was just the challenges I faced on the way or along the way.

They were tough, obviously, never playing the sport before and kind of diving in the deep end of life.

competing against some of the best athletes in the world it was tough but it definitely taught me a lot about the mental side of the game you know you've got to be able to bounce back on many challenges you face and obviously that was one for me and now coming back to rugby didn't have my best first year but I think again it's another challenge to to try and get back to my best rugby

But in terms of how that feeds into the national side, it still feels like there is talent there.

since you've returned?

Yeah, 100%.

Um, you know, I kind of said to myself, like, less settling last year.

Um, you know, being out of the game for two years, you lose a lot of things.

Like, I didn't even touch a rugby ball for 18 months.

So I kind of had to do the basic skills.

I only had a short pre-season.

That's gotta be the focus for Bristol.
