because you worked in tv and you understand if if you don't catch somebody in the first three seconds you don't get ratings you don't get paid so i love because i come from radio it's the same thing there's this urgency to say something important quickly so talk to us about that

my boss always said especially when i worked in news i worked first on a talk show and then after that the last five or six years of my career i worked on a news program a morning news show in the Bay Area of California.

It was similar to the Today Show and Good Morning America.

In fact, we got ratings.

Sometimes we beat them in the morning.

So it was a really high quality show.

And my boss would always say, if it's not news, make sure it's interesting.
