And I guess, is it family related things they've been through or is it other experiences that have surfaced and come out that they try to clear and resolve?

Lorna WilsonGUEST
Primarily family, because family sets the foundation for the patterns that's going to come about in their life.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
And so when you look even at the time in the womb, whatever's going on for the mother, that child, that fetus is cooked in those energies, thoughts, feelings, vibrations, frequency.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
And so those things that start in our childhood, and they're always going to be reactions to the adults or the life around us or what's going on within the family, those reactions are always going to create belief systems that wire in particular beliefs about ourselves.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
And when we create beliefs about ourselves, they're usually negative ones that we then have to suppress because we don't want anyone else to know.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
And so what happens is we create an image of ourselves that's not necessarily true, primarily because we don't realise that that's a reaction to something that's occurred.

the things that you can do and the things that you can help people with align exactly with that type of experience?
We’re all here for the research with the Research Professional Futures team (Episode 95)

Yeah, and I think it picks up on the discussion we've just been having about the proliferation of roles and how these have changed.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
So one of the things we talked about is there's a real lack of understanding about the workforce itself.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
You know, yes, you can speak to colleagues from other institutions and get kind of anecdotal view on what these types of roles and structures, etc.

Lorna WilsonGUEST
But often the way these roles are constructed is very particular for their institutional context, what type of university they're in for example, But then even within the same university, you know, if you have lots of devolved structures and lots of different things going on, it's very hard to picture that.
