32:07
Um, Lorna, why don't you share what that is?
32:10
Yeah, absolutely.
32:11
Well, um, Danielle came to us with a little bit of a problem.
32:15
Um, and it was a great problem for Victoria and I to chew on for a little bit.
32:20
Um, how do we provide a quick and simple resource to new hiring managers? And we created a new hiring manager playbook that gives new managers, or people who just are in interviews thinking, 'Wait a second, this can't be right,' um, this is a really quick guide for them to jump in and, uh, get all the information they need to run a great interview tomorrow.
32:50
It's the bare basics, and it's exactly what you're gonna need to get yourself rolling.
36:03
[laughs]
36:03
And I would, like, laugh in their face.
8:52
Could you introduce yourself and tell everyone what you do?
8:54
Sure.
8:55
I'm Lorna Erickson.
8:56
I'm a co-founder of Expert Interviewers.
8:58
We train hiring managers how to interview.
9:00
And then we kind of accidentally became content creators in the HR space.
9:05
That was by accident, just using our former recruiting trauma to create funny situations where hopefully people see themselves and want to change and be better hiring managers.
10:13
And was there anything like an answer to that? What were people doing or what do you think?
15:11
Mm-hmm.
15:11
Like, Tori and I sometimes have differing views on this a little bit.
15:14
We focus primarily on talent assessment, and I think a lot of the issues that I'm noticing is that companies are now hoping that AI can figure out who to hire for them, and if they're not a part of that process and, like, seeing what's actually happening, then one, they're gonna put themselves in some legal hot water, but two, you may not get the right person that you need.
15:35
And by just default and passing that off, I think that that's really gonna mess some people up.

7 MINS LATER

22:53
Yeah.
22:53
And that helps a lot.
22:54
Typically, and this is fine, um, you know, we'll leave the, the last however long we need to answer any questions the candidate has about the position and company.
23:02
But by that point, you should understand what the candidate has liked and disliked about their last few positions, or the last four years in their jobs.
