No, he's not.
19:56
He has so many choices along this way, and you and I are the same.
20:01
So lots of times, one of the ways I think the adversary comes in is that when you do make the choice you didn't wanna make, then immediate just expect flooding of, like, "See, you can't get out of this, and you can't overcome this, and you should just keep going," and fill in the blank, and, "You're no good," and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
20:17
Right? Like, all of that, 'cause it's just an area to exploit.
20:21
So one of the ways I think that we do that too is, um, I have grabbed a couple of phrases from, about the Savior, that when I start to feel myself, like, putting myself on a sl- like, the bottom of the slope instead of just having tripped a little bit, I remind myself that to stop my thought process, right? And, um, like, for example, uh, President Packer gave one.
20:48
He says, "When, when the Savior atoned, that settled that." So those three words, "That settled that," for me are looking to Christ in the moment, and they keep me from walking down this, this pattern or slipping down the rest of the hill and continuing to make choices that now I just feel like, "Well, I've already screwed it up, so I might as well," fill in the blank, right? Um, so anyway, that's been like, I just, like, I replay that in my mind of like, "That settled that," or whatever.
21:16
I always pick a different one.
