18:36
No, you're good now.
18:37
Alright, I'm good now.
18:38
That's good.
18:39
Yeah, I think it might be time to replace my 5000 year old laptop.
18:44
Apologies for the technical difficulties.
18:46
I'm on my iPad now, so the sound won't be as good, but it will be next time.
18:51
I promise.

9 MINS LATER

28:17
Lois, how about your prime minister listen to reason and economists and actual energy experts and not radical climate activists? What's going on in the UK oil sector these days? There's plenty of oil you have up there in the North Sea.

36:12
Do you understand the point that I'm making, Lois?
36:14
No, I, I do understand the point you're making.
36:16
It's very interesting actually because there was a point that I wanted to make that, that actually goes into that.
36:21
So, so the, the fact that, that him and he- him and his organization are doing this, um, i- is, is, is wonderful.
36:30
Um, you know, obviously, um, you- It's, it, it's a very good thing that he's doing.
36:35
A- and you wouldn't get left-wing groups doing things like this.
36:39
And I just wanted to make the point that there is something inherently childlike about left-wing ideology and liberal middle class, liberal to left-wing ideology.

17 MINS LATER

53:27
Lois Perry, what's your response to Rory Stewart?
4:16
us.
4:18
of me personally and what we're trying to achieve.
4:22
In fact, there's no greater embodiment of what we're doing, what you're doing, what we're doing and what I'm doing in the UK and Europe with the Heartland than Anne Widdicombe.
4:37
She was a passionate advocate of free speech.
4:41
She thought net zero was a load of old nonsense, which of course we know it is.
4:47
And, you know, she said that no one, no one has a right to not be offended.
4:54
She was quite an extraordinary woman.

29 MINS LATER

33:56
This is going to be a voluntary program, and there's no way that the government that makes you get heat pumps in the first place is going to abuse that power and turn down your heat without your consent, right? Of
4:43
He
4:44
was great.
4:45
And, you know, so we'd spend Sunday mornings watching political programs and then Sunday afternoons.
4:51
And I mean, every weekend I would be at a different museum, a different castle, a different country house.
4:59
You know, I...
5:01
It was fab, you know, even though I had all the other stuff going on, which wasn't so good with my actual parents.
5:09
My childhood overall was great.

8 MINS LATER

12:46
So let me just throw it to you, Lois, and share with us, if you would, the basics of the battle we're in right now.
20:17
What is the status of coal use in the UK these days, both its public perception and its use in your grid?
20:23
Well, I think that the work that we've done as an organization has helped enormously in terms of de-demonizing, if you like, the whole coal thing.
20:34
But yeah you're right that i would argue that that not just the united kingdom but the entire empire was built on coal and and indeed the industrial revolution so the whole concept of it being a terrible thing a horrible thing all of those all of that stuff is um is an anathema certainly to me but but like um like nana was just saying i do believe that that that perceptions are changing and where they're not changing enough, Things will happen in the background and they might just not massively publicise it.
21:14
Coal is an extraordinary resource.
21:16
We are using it.
21:17
We will use it.
21:19
Whether we make a big song and dance out of it is another kettle of fish.

42 MINS LATER

63:51
From Mr. Johansson, who says, Lois, when is Starmer resigning?
