When you take someone into the unconscious mind, how do you know that what they access is the true route rather than something along the timeline of the symptom?

You know, because I'm a pioneer in the field of hypnosis since the mid to late 80s and have taught it all over the world, there was a few years there that this whole concept of false memory came up and you don't hear much about it.

And I think that has to do more with the therapist making implications because there are so many different ways to be traumatized.

It's not just all sexual abuse.

Although I worked in the Hispanic community in California for many years, and sadly, statistically, that happened a lot.

And then I worked in Japan for a dozen years and you didn't see the sexual abuse as much as the emotional and physical abuse.

So again, it's not what happened.

As you say, it's the interpretation of what we went through that causes the disconnection.
