Tell me about that.
LizzieGUEST
5:22
So when I started intuitive eating with you in 2021, five years ago, what I did, and this is just kind of part of my personality, is I kind of went the extreme.
LizzieGUEST
5:34
I wanted to throw myself into a completely shedded creature where I was like, I got rid of all of my habits that made me feel any sort of smallness.
LizzieGUEST
5:45
So that was overworking out or only eating protein bars for all of my meals and protein shakes and prioritizing certain nutrients over others because in the current culture, that was the current fad.
LizzieGUEST
6:00
So I stopped working out as much.
LizzieGUEST
6:02
I just went on walksI just ate exactly as my body wanted me to eat, and also allowed myself to eat the foods that I feared.
LizzieGUEST
6:13
And so with that, I was able to expose myself to a completely different lifestyle than I had ever lived before, and I'm so grateful for that.
8:02
Yeah, 'cause I don't have Instagram, so like I don't know-
OzarHOST
102:16
Okay.
LizzieGUEST
102:16
And I'm gonna look for the familiar crate that I inspected yesterday with my detect magic and detected nothing, but today I'm just hoping I can recognize it with my eyeballs.
OzarHOST
107:05
Onion.
LizzieGUEST
107:05
You know what? You could be head of the PR department.
LizzieGUEST
107:08
That one's great.
LizzieGUEST
107:09
Right, I'll leave you to it now.
LizzieGUEST
107:10
Uh, enjoy your grass.
LizzieGUEST
107:12
Thanks for all your information, and, um, thanks for nearly destroying the continental trade relations that we have going on here.
0:31
What did you make of the England performance in what was, you know, serious hostile conditions?
LizzieGUEST
0:35
Yeah.
LizzieGUEST
0:36
Playing against France in France was not, not an easy feat at all.
LizzieGUEST
0:40
I can imagine the pressure was on, but England seems to thrive under pressure.
LizzieGUEST
0:43
I mean, the girls seem to come together under pressure.
LizzieGUEST
0:47
Um, we spoke with Tatiana Heard, and she, unfortunately with a injury, couldn't be there with them, but she just, she did discuss, uh, the, how strong the culture is and, um, and how much Mitch has, has really helped them band together following the World Cup.
LizzieGUEST

I think it's super interesting that they haven't been complacent at all, like none of them.

I mean, it shows how far the women's game has gone that they're now able to, you know, produce these tours.
OzerHOST

"I'm a brave horse."
LizzieGUEST
126:30
And I would like you to remember that.
LizzieGUEST
126:32
Every time you hear a loud noise, I need you to tell yourself that you're a brave horse.
LizzieGUEST
126:38
And every time you see a fence post that looks a little bit unlike the others, once again, tell yourself that you are brave.
LizzieGUEST
126:45
And maybe in the future we can react less dramatically-

... that just materialized in front of her in a lovely bakery
LizzieGUEST
149:56
Yeah.
LizzieGUEST
149:57
I would like to take the washing up bowl, but still re- remaining stealth, so I don't wanna splash it like it's gonna make a big sploosh.
OzerHOST
62:09
... more useful and cute, like moofins.
LizzieGUEST
62:12
That does sound like something I would do.
LizzieGUEST
62:15
So, I mean, I'm willing to get out of your hair, but we are missing a friend.
LizzieGUEST
62:24
It's been taken by your plants, your useless, aggressive plants.
OzerHOST
63:58
... and trowel and a rake.
LizzieGUEST
63:59
I did, yes.
LizzieGUEST
64:01
I don't know.
LizzieGUEST
64:02
I can't explain myself.
SylvanHOST
1:19
So my question is, why does it feel easier for them to be physically with each other than to actually say how they feel?
LizzieGUEST
1:28
I think the easy way to explain that is that it's just being physical is so much more familiar to them.
LizzieGUEST
1:36
Um, I think athletes from a very young age, particularly male athletes, are not only encouraged to be physical, but they, like, feed into growing that nature to be physical and be more aggressive, um, with, with each other and just through sports in general.
LizzieGUEST
1:58
And I think that can be, I don't want to say damaging, 'cause it's, it's good, it's good to fuel somebody's pa- if a, if a kid likes something, if a kid, like, really enjoys something, like you wanna fuel that passion.
LizzieGUEST
2:12
But I run into a lot of parents as a coach that have the very, they very much have the boys will be boys mentality, which I feel like can be very, um, detrimental to them growing up, um, into just how they view themselves in the world and how they should interact with other people.
LizzieGUEST
2:32
And so for Shane and Ilya, I think, um, sports obviously have been a very big part of their life, and they participate in a very physically, um, demanding sport and one that is a contact sport, which I think has a lot to do with it as well.
LizzieGUEST
2:48
And so that's just, they're used to expressing their emotions and feelings through their body and their body's capabilities, and so I think that that is what comes nat- most naturally to them.
