Why is there maybe, I mean, there's obviously not speculation probably, or maybe, you know, why is there such a, difference in perception that the one things no they can ask me anything and then the person who should have that authority or that um permission feels like they can't like like any insights or thoughts about that and how do we fix it
10:21
definitely definitely and i think um yeah unfortunately you know it does fall on the senior person.
10:30
So whether that person is a senior financial planner or the business owner, you know, whoever's in that position where they've got staff reporting to them and where they want input.
10:41
I think it's all good and well to say you've got an open door policy, but you've also got to show it.
10:46
And what I mean by that is you also have to actively reach out to your staff members, because especially in a busy practice, you know, people are often just head down, just doing the next thing, just getting through what needs to be done urgently and trying to prioritize and all of that.
11:04
So it's very often that they also just don't have the capacity or it's not in their personality type to maybe approach it from their side, to come to you.
11:16
And I think what I've found is where The senior person also takes some initiative to maybe just have a monthly set meeting in your calendar with that person or with your team where you specifically talk about these practical things and where you maybe don't sit back and say, okay, guys, give me ideas or talk to me about problems.

the warning signs or the signs that i can notice to say well whoa my team that i thought is running like on its own you know is maybe starting to break down or they're finding it challenging or they're not as efficient as i think as i want them to be what are some of those signs maybe that we that we can look out for just to say you know i just want to sort of clearly mention these um just because i think we've touched on a few of them throughout the conversation but Are there very specific things that might go, oh, here might be a problem? It's not to say that there is a problem, but it's something worth checking.
15:13
Is it worth the pain and any advice around that?
15:17
Definitely.
15:18
So that's a that's a very relevant question.
15:21
I mean, even me, you know, it's just me at the moment.
15:26
And my partner helps me with my books and my finances.
15:30
But even I sat down, and I actually wrote down some processes, you know, of what I want the client experience to look like, what I want certain things to work with and so forth.
15:42
And it's actually quite valuable because you're kind of organizing your thoughts on the one side.

So I want to hear your thoughts on that.
