And I was just talking to David Michôd, who's been, had been helping Jen as an EP for all this time, um, and had worked with Jen as a co-director on a couple of her documentaries, which I, you know, commented on years ago in the edits.

So, and I just said to him one day, "What, what's happened with Tenzing?" I don't know why it came up.

And I could see all of Jen's documentary work was kind of focused in a kind of character and story way that I just thought, "Wow, this could be really amazing" [laughs] Like, if we could pull it off.

Um, and I think that that, the enticement of telling a story about the spiritual connection to land-

So over many, many years, and I guess part of the pleasure of this podcast, for me at least, is to be talking with people I've had a long relationship with and connection with and take I guess the audience a bit inside the tent of what um well this is really I think we call this the art of producing what is producing um it's one of those quite mysterious things where you know people don't really know what we do it's much easier to know what a director does or a writer or an actor you can sort of see their work I do ask myself that question sometimes as well what does a producer do producers do a whole range of different things and they're different producers who focus on different things but how would you categorize what a um And we might see your dog Billy walking through frame occasionally, which is not a bad thing.

She's an office dog and may appear in certain movies.

There are many kind of scenarios under which different producers operate in different ways.

I enjoy the spark of taking or the spark of an idea and taking that idea and executing it and telling stories.

I think you have to love storytelling.

And I really love visual storytelling in particular.

And I've always loved that aspect of the execution.
