Mm.
16:51
Of the ability to look at things critically after you've experimented with something a bunch of times.
17:00
Tilia is about to walk up the stairs now, and she, I watched her and Robin developing ideas for the projects that they're working on at Fieldwork Facility, and it's so interesting and inspiring watching them, like, figure stuff out with, like, materials or whether that's typography and that's the size of things and, like, you know, they've always got, like, bits and bobs printed out on the wall and they're standing and looking at everything.
17:24
And I'm so bad at just being like, "I know what the final thing is.
17:28
I'm just gonna make it," and then skipping all of the testing process.
17:32
So that's something that I'm actively trying to develop at the moment, and watching these two has been really useful for that.
18:03
Yeah
18:03
... fashion events and, like, the biennales and all sorts of things.
22:24
So don't you just think that the very thing that a lot of people are trying to avoid, that re- the reality, the, the rawness, the authenticity, is gonna be the thing that saves the day in the end?
22:37
I think my theory, my crackpot theory, is that kind of everyone will go in opposite directions.
22:45
There'll be some people who go AI into the metaverse, if that's still a thing.
22:50
It seems to have gone quite quiet recently.
22:52
But we'll essentially end up in, like, WALL-E, and the other half will go to, like, go back to the ground and use their hands and dig and make stuff.
23:02
And I think there'll be this, like, polarity in society where people go either way 'cause there's always gonna be people who wanna sit in the safety of being the same as everyone else.
23:12
And, you know, there's huge, like, mass market appeal in that, which means there's money in that, so it works.
23:32
Yeah.
