So how can someone tell whether they are growing because they genuinely want to, or because they feel they are not good enough as they are?
18:41
Oh, that's a good one.
18:42
Yeah.
18:43
So just think of this, you know, just to be any one of us, just to be here on earth born, it's like one in some crazy number, like a trillion.
18:52
The chances that we're even here is amazing.
18:55
So you are unique, you're valuable, you're worthwhile.
18:58
Like, there's nothing to change or fix.
21:23
Why do you think people sometimes struggle to trust their own judgment, even when they are intelligent and capable?
0:12
Tell us about the business.
0:13
So it's life coaching.
0:14
It's mostly, I target market women, but it could be anybody.
0:18
So I do have some people come in otherwise, but it's mostly women, 40 and older that are, you know, have this really, they're like the sandwich generation.
0:24
They have all this stuff going on.
0:25
So they're very overwhelmed and feel like kind of stuck there.
0:28
They're just like on this hamster wheel, not really getting anywhere or not feeling fulfilled.

And I
AbrahamHOST
10:36
Now, how do you bring those elements together in practice and what might that look like for someone who is overwhelmed by or who is overwhelmed but doesn't have the time or energy to add another demanding routine to their life?
10:55
Yeah, that's a good question because it does sound like a lot.
10:57
It sounds like, you know, there's so, if it's the mind, the body, the soul, it sounds like it's a lot, but really just small things.
11:05
If you could just add small inconsistency is key, just small and consistent things like the breathing that takes 30 seconds, you know, to do a few rounds of breathing, a breath or, um, you know, a quick stepping outside for five minutes, just to change your scenery and change your environment.
11:23
Um, there's so many little things you can do just to, to, you know, get going in that motion to, to relax the nervous system.
11:29
Cause that is huge.
11:30
And just, you know, giving yourself a chance to think differently.
AbrahamHOST
11:53
Now, what about for someone who has tried therapy, self-help books, wellness routines, and countless productivity strategies, but still feels trapped in the same cycle? How can they begin identifying what they might be missing and choose a next step that makes sense for them?
EvidenceHOST
6:10
was there a particular realization in your journey when when you began to understand that the problem wasn't simply about doing more of the right things but about changing something deeper within yourself
6:24
yeah definitely so when i was started trying to change a little bit because i was under so much pressure i said you know this can't last so i said you know why am i like this why do i feel like this and i had to go way back to when i was a kid and i realized my parents put a lot not in a not meaning bad but it felt as a kid you don't understand you know what's going on and i you know i would get really pretty good grades like i would get a b or b plus on something but my parents would always say why didn't you get an a you can do better you know they were always pushing and so i put that on myself as an adult i was You know, I can do it.
6:58
I can do everything.
6:58
I can do it.
6:59
And you can't.
7:01
You know, you've got to be reasonable.
7:04
And you can ask for help.
EvidenceHOST
7:41
What did you become to understand about this part of your experiences that influence one another to shape your approach?
GiftHOST
6:25
you know, it
6:26
I'm always doing things.
6:28
I need to relax.
6:29
Or if I'm always doing things for other people, why am I doing this? That kind of, when you have questions and you're aware of them, that's the starting point.
6:36
You want to, you want to start there.
6:38
And then I do some mindset work where we go into the subconscious and we release those beliefs.
6:44
Where did this, where do these thoughts come from? Where'd you first learn them? Are they a hundred percent true or something someone told you? like really digging into that mindset and wiring and beliefs and all that kind of stuff.
GiftHOST
11:05
What does it look like to build a life that reflects who you genuinely are rather than Who society, family, or professional expectation tell you to be?
WestinoHOST
4:10
How does this approach work, and what makes it different from simply changing someone's daily habits?
4:15
So during my, my journey or my transformation, I found that I was working a lot on mindset, you know, after reading that book, and I wasn't really doing a lot with my body or things I was eating.
4:29
So I started working on that too because I'm like, you know, my-- I'm trying to make all these changes, but my body keeps feeling anxious or kinda stuck.
4:38
Something's blocking me from making a real change.
4:42
So I was making sure I started monitoring my sleep, making sure I was e- drinking enough water, moving enough, um, eating the right things, all those things incorporated in with my mindset work.
4:54
And that's when I started to really notice a real transformation because they're all s- one system.
5:00
It's a, you're h- you're one body, you're one human, and they all work together.
WestinoHOST
8:20
Why is this so difficult for people to give themself permission to rest without feeling unproductive?

NiharikaHOST
2:06
So if the wellness isn't about reaching some ideal state, how do we know when we are moving in the right direction? That's actually nourishing for us.
2:23
So one of the things I practice is living in my highest values.
2:28
And how you determine that is what would you be doing? Ask yourself, what would you be doing if you didn't have to do, if you feel like you didn't have to do something? Like if someone wasn't telling you or if there wasn't some other motive.
2:40
Just you, how do you spend your time? What would you want to be doing? And where's there evidence of that now? If health is one of your highest priorities, are you eating well? Are you taking care of yourself? Are you moving and all that? Are you doing that now? So you can tell by what you would do if no one asked, and what are you doing now? So for me, it's health.
3:02
It's also like learning and coaching and new experiences or travel.
3:07
So those are my three.
3:07
So I always make sure that I'm incorporating that in my day.

I'm curious, how do you support someone in staying connected to this more personal, evolving definition of wellness, when the pull towards the old rules and the external validation is still so strong?
SwatiHOST
6:23
And when someone starts tracing a reaction back to its roots, what tends to happen next? Like does awareness itself begin to create a shift or is there more work that usually has to happen?
6:40
Yeah, awareness is amazing because a lot of people aren't aware.
6:44
90% of what we do is automatic in our subconscious.
6:47
We just do things automatically without thinking.
6:50
So awareness is huge.
6:51
If you can get to that point, that's great.
6:53
And then from there, what I like to do, it's called mind shifting, and a lot of coaches do it.
SwatiHOST
8:21
What does it actually look like when one of these old patterns show up? Like not necessarily in some huge or dramatic moment, but in those small repetitive situations that most of us might not notice right away.
FortuneHOST
8:40
So do you think someone can recognize this connection in their own everyday lives without having to overhaul everything?
8:50
Yeah, I think so.
8:51
Um, and you can start really small.
8:53
You don't have to take it on all at once, but just noticing when you're triggered, when things are going, things are stressing you out, or you're having an issue with a relationship or, um, a situation, just noticing it.
9:05
'Cause a lot of times I don't think we do.
9:07
I think we just say, we blame, or we say, you know, it's, it's, "This is happening," or, you know, we just take it on, we just accept it instead of saying, you know, "Wait a minute," just pausing and just seeing what the whole situation.
9:22
That's a big one, just, uh, being aware.
FortuneHOST
10:38
So why isn't awareness always enough?
OkoroHOST
5:48
So what did those experiences teach you about the limitation of treating problems separately and How would you describe the mind-life reset?
6:01
Yeah, I just found that, you know, there's so many things out there.
6:04
So you really have to pick what works for you, for your schedule, for what you're interested in, what you're going to stick to.
6:10
You really have to find out what works for you.
6:12
And then also just make sure there's all three elements included.
6:17
So say you... want to do running as your physical activity.
6:22
So you do that.
OkoroHOST
10:34
something to say on that.
FerdinandHOST
5:13
Now, looking back, when did you realize that the way you were living wasn't actually sustainable?
5:19
Yeah.
5:20
Um, so yeah, I was living in New York city.
5:23
There was, it was very, always do, do, do constantly stuff going on.
5:26
And, and I kept thinking to myself, what, there has to be more to life than this.
5:31
Even though, you know, from the outside, it looked like I had, everybody was like, wow, you're so lucky.
5:35
You're so blessed.
FerdinandHOST
9:48
What is the Mind Life Reset all about?
BeatriceHOST
5:20
What did your personal journey teach you about real personal growth?
5:27
Yeah, so I was struggling a lot with the working and it started to bring on – all the stress started to bring on some health issues.
5:35
And I just thought, wow, there has – this can't – you know, there has to be more to life.
5:40
There has to be an easier way.
5:42
So I started trying different things like, I don't know, acupuncture and talk therapy and supplements and all kinds of different things.
5:49
And nothing – things worked a little bit, but nothing really made a huge shift.
5:54
So I took – I took my mind, my body, and my spirit.
BeatriceHOST
10:50
So if someone listening feels stuck in overthinking, or self-doubt or the pressure to constantly be productive? What would you want them to understand about themselves and where can they start?
