Liz Amini HolmesGUEST
My name is Liz Amini Holmes, and I am a Bay Area illustrator, artist, and arts facilitator now.

Liz Amini HolmesGUEST
I was born and raised in the Bay Area, mostly in San Francisco, and then moved to the peninsula.

Liz Amini HolmesGUEST
I went to the Academy of Art University to get a BFA in editorial illustration.

Liz Amini HolmesGUEST
And I've actually been quite lucky to be able to have consistent work as an artist, which is not usually the case for a lot of people.

Liz Amini HolmesGUEST
But I think I had a very special time when art was seen as an actual equitable job as opposed to something that was, you know, not just a fantasy to be a Sunday painter.

Liz Amini HolmesGUEST
So I was able to work as a technical illustrator for a few years, which then segued me into being able to work in more corporate environments as an artist and art director.
