Oh, yes.

And I've always filmed the trips, and I managed to raise the funds to get a woman to come and film with me.

Um, but actually putting together a documentary and having, you know, the editor and the sound and all that, you know, it's, it's very expensive.

So I just managed, I put a pitch doc together and I thought, "You know, I've been doing this for a while now, and this trip is so epic, and the story's so inspiring," and so many people were saying, "I really would like to watch this." And I also think there's something in, in a documentary that now I've got it, you know, I can take it to schools, I can show it to people, and I wanna just get it in front of as many people as possible.

So that's why I wanted to have a film or something that I could, I could show.

So I just put everything into trying to get this funding, and it nearly killed me, but I managed to get it, and we managed to make it.

And I also, one thing that I really wanted to do was keep the entire production team, um, female identifying because, uh, again, in the world of adventure, um, there's this big adventure festival that I go to every year, and, you know, so few of those films are directed and made by women.

Um, what do you think the benefits are of that for you? Because I think you clearly enjoy it.

Can you walk us through your actual expedition itself?

Yes, so we went for the first time in 2024.

And I'd raised another thing about these trips.

I have to raise all the money and it becomes this really quite big, stressful thing.

So there's a lot riding on it.

And it was a little bit later in the season.

So I basically wanted to try and summit the same day that she did.
