And I really respect those folks who do

that.

I mean, I'm glad to hear that.

And I, you know, poll workers are really the heroes of the election.

And it's not just Election Day, but also early voting, because those hours can be so long.

And they're the front face to the people that, you know, won't take off their hat or they're the front face to the people that somehow their registration isn't in the book.

And, you know, they're the ones that are on on the front lines dealing with people who, you know, are 99 percent happy and everything works out.

And do you have one final word of advice for how people could help themselves out voting or something you could do in preparation that's just going to make it easier on you? Sure.

Who is eligible to vote by mail in Texas?

So who, who can vote by mail, our largest group are the 65 years of age or older, if you're sick or disabled.

Obviously, the military and overseas, they have a special request form they use.

If you're gonna, uh, give birth three weeks before or after Election Day, if you're gonna be absent from the county during the early voting, uh, period and on Election Day, if you are confined in jail but otherwise eligible, or if you're civilly committed under the Texas Health and Safety Code, you can request a ballot for those reasons.

Are there a lot of voters in El Paso County on that list, and, and what are you telling those who are planning to vote in this year's elections about getting their registration updated?

Sure.

So we have about 50,000 voters on suspense lists here in El Paso County, and I, I wanna be really clear.

The suspense list is nothing new.
