My birthday is December the 10th, 1964." And he goes, "You know what? Let me just stop you right now." And when he said that, I thought, "Uh-oh, he's probably gonna say, 'Listen, let's just end this conversation, and let's just, you know, end this and not do this.'" So I got a little nervous, right? And so he goes, "Listen." He goes-

goes-You're my niece.

You are my niece, and you're my favorite niece, and you have no idea how many people you've made so happy in this moment.

And I just went, "Oh my goodness," right? [laughs] And I still have no idea who my mother is still.

So we were on the phone for a good half an hour before I finally said, "Well, what's my mother's name?" And he said, "Oh, your mother's name is Lynn, Lynne Moody." And then I went, "Lynne Moody?" And so I'm sitting at my desk, and I Googled it, 'cause that's what we do now, you know? [laughs] And I Googled it, and her picture popped up, and I think it was a picture of you when you were probably, like, 18 or 19 years old.

And for me, that was the first time that I had seen somebody who looked like me, ever.

Yeah.

And like, for me, like, I didn't know w- what I was walking into.
