Mm.

'Cause I think the one thing, in answer to your question, that stopped m- that got in the way of my success was a lack of focus.

Because I thought that I should focus on my career, which I did, and then I th- and I thought that would make me happy, and it didn't, because it's precarious.

It's one of the most precarious professions in the world.

And so my whole identity and everything had been based on that.

What do you think your late husband George believed made the series so special?

I think he would say for sure that it was the amalgam of talent and resources available to them as advertising people.

Most creative people went into the business because it enabled them to make a living and still do versions of what they did, uh, with, with whatever their creative bent was.

Both George and I are examples of that, actually.

The creative departments were filled with A-list writers, artists, directors, producers, musicians, actors, singers, and if they weren't working at the agency, they were hired by them to execute the ad campaigns, uh, in one capacity or another.

So, and it was New York, so you had the top talent to pull from.

Uh, also, it was a wide swath of ages.
