I had been a makeup artist for, uh, at that point, I don't know, maybe 10, 11 years, and I had a wedding makeup business here.

But I was pregnant with my second daughter, and I was just at that pivotal point where you know that something had to change.

You know, I was committing to these weddings a year in advance, taking up my weekends, and now I was starting a family, and I didn't, I didn't wanna give up my weekends.

In Austin, at the time, it was if you were a makeup artist, you basically did weddings.

There was no other opportunity for working makeup artists except work at a department store or work weddings.

Why is it important to have good quality brushes for your makeup? Like, what would happen if you didn't, and what happens when you do?

And it's funny, like, have you found that as you look for quality that you actually find it easier to not lose money, but you're still making money if that word, some soup makes any sense?

I think so.
