I want you to describe, like if I was just somebody that learned that you played for 11 at Florida State, describe your playing experience, meaning who were you as a player and what was that experience?

I wasn't very good, Runes.

We're talking 40 plus years ago, really, when I first engaged, going to his camps and kind of growing up watching him here in town and My recruitment was far different than what we deal with now.

It was after my senior year, and I had played with Junior a lot along the way with and against him.

So 11 was always around.

I used to break into the cages at Florida State, and he actually caught me one day.

I competed against them one time, I believe, at Notre Dame.

I thought those were critical moments for him.

He got a big punch out there in the middle of the slight misfire in the first inning.

Do you think that's an approach that you're gonna continue to use throughout the rest of this series and heading into the postseason?

No. We're gonna be smart, but I, I have tried to get to this point in the season, and I think all three of our starters who've logged a significant amount of innings, I think they're all right where you want them to be.

So we used to play Miami six times, and then I don't remember the conference swaps and what happened, but it was always something you look forward to.

We would go there for three.

They would be here, intense games, a lot of memories.

The best is probably – I needed it to turn out to be the best.
