Can you talk about the change of direction? If you felt it as a change of direction and what the decision was to create this record, as opposed to maybe continuing down a track that you were previously on?

Yeah, you know, I feel like the music I've made has always just been me trying to show up as I am.

And thankfully, I've been surrounded by some very incredible producers and... you know, team members who have helped try to lead me in a direction.

When I first came to Nashville, I wanted to be a female John Mayer.

I was like, hey, I love playing the guitar and I love writing songs.

And there's this guy, John Mayer, who does both of those things really well.

So that's the direction I'm going.

Can you talk about what your first experience was playing in front of an audience of tens of thousands of people?

Yeah, yeah, yeah

... and just go." And after the game, we're, like, standing there, and there's celebration.

There's conf- there was so much confetti.

And all the media, like, went onto the court.

And so we just climbed up a few rows, and then just stood by the side of the court and were just watching all of the interviews commence.

And but we were just like, "We spent so much money to be here-
