So Lindsay for those listeners who maybe they don't know as much about you as we do can you tell them a little bit about yourself? Yeah sure
3:05
I'm Lindsay I have three amazing neurodivergent children and through them I kind of I'm self-diagnosed neurodivergent myself.
3:16
I would love one day to have a diagnosis because that validation would be like everything but I absolutely know I am neurodivergent it would just be I see how much it benefits my children two out of three are diagnosed now and I'm absolutely sure even at three and a half years old that my daughter is neurodivergent too so as a family I feel like we've been on this whole like kind of I'd say about eight-year journey from when my now 12 year old was younger he was the one that kind of showed us this new light that it just nothing was working all the mainstream things were just absolutely not working um from preschool to school, to groups, to all the things that you would do when you're trying to be a typical family and do typical things.

And I feel that as quite a young mum, I was only 22...
4:12
I can't remember now, but 22, 23 when I had Stan.
4:16
And so I was trying to just copy what everyone else was doing.
4:22
And even though it felt way too hard and for him it was way too hard, we just pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed.

Are you able to talk a little bit about what that struggle looked like at the time? Yeah, definitely.
