I wanted to ask what productive capability do Mexico, the US, and Canada, uh, need to build together to remain globally competitive as a region going forward?

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
You know, I think that we already have such complementary skills, uh, across our three countries in terms of, you know, d-developing ideas, innovation at its core.

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
In, you know, that happens, let's say, in the US, industrializing that innovation that happens in, in Canada and the, uh, advanced manufacturing that can come out of it, and then the implementation at scale in Mexico that, you know, I think we have huge opportunity for continued collaboration.

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
Uh, I think that we need to put this noise behind us of the tariffs and, you know, uh, concerns around USMCA so that we can, we can continue to pursue that and really lever that opportunity.

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
You know, when I think about, uh, global markets, I mean, North America is a fraction of global markets.

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
Uh, you know, the auto-- twenty percent or less of global vehicles are made and sold in North America, eighty percent outside.

How would you describe the environment right now with tariffs, with the ex- you know, what happened at the August 21st, the breakdown of talks, all that kind of stuff?

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
I mean, for Linamar, y- you know, over 90% of our sales has no tariff, uh, at all, la- largely because a big part of our business is auto parts, and there's, as long as you're USMCA compliant, there's no, uh, tariff on auto parts.

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
I mean, obviously some, uh, products in our industrial division are i- being impacted by the tariffs, but, you know, we, we need to find ways to, you know, close, uh, close those, uh, additional costs through productivity, better cost, better innovation, uh, a lot of different ways.

Linda HasenfratzGUEST
And, you know, we're, we're finding those opportunities, which is great to see.
