Liberty drums.

Yeah.

And so you call these people at the time I was with, um, uh, uh, I went from Tama to Mapex.

And I didn't know them.

They were my friends.

Joe Hibbs was one of my friends.

He was head of artist relations with Mapex.

It was really more about yourself and what you went through anyway.

Talk about the club where you met them and Billy.

I played in a house band.

I was in the New Rock Workshop.

Billy was in a band called The Hassles.

And we were the house bands at this club called The My House in Plainview, Long Island.

And I would see Billy, you know, we'd pass in the night and we'd say hi and stuff like that.

And I loved this group called Traffic and Steve Winwood was in it.

What was it like for you guys performing in countries that, A, may not have understood a word you guys or what Billy was singing, and B, may not have always had the most positive impression of Americans?
