And I imagine this was a real impetus for getting this through the legislature, which we should note this measure passed unanimously from the legislature back in 2025.

It did.

And we really have represented Mike Baham to thank for that.

He really handled this particular bill so well and understood the impetus of it.

But I want to take a step back because this bill really came into being because of an initiative that we started at the Louisiana Policy Institute for Children called Go Far Louisiana.

And it's spelled the Louisiana way, G-E-A-U-X.

And it comes from the proverb, if you want to go fast, you go alone.
