How do healthcare professionals deal with this situation now that you have the letter? And how do you hope it will influence and change the conversations between healthcare professionals and families in those first hours and days following a sudden cardiac death?
5:24
So I think this is a very important initiative because there are decisions that should be made in, uh, the very first moments that are the most difficult ones.
5:36
But this is something that can really change, uh, also the follow-up and save other lives, uh, in terms of family member, because performing the autopsy and sometimes molecular autopsy is the only way to make a correct diagnosis, and so to be able to evaluate all family members in a proper way.

So if families are informed properly about this, there is no one that refuses to do the autopsy.
6:10
The problem is to have all the correct information in that difficult moment.
6:18
And also the physicians sometimes are in difficulties, uh, in that moment to try to explain in the proper way and to try to make the families understanding correctly why it is so important.
6:33
So I think that this letter could really change and support, uh, this important decision, uh, in that very difficult moment.

So Leah, from your perspective as a healthcare professional, what made this collaboration successful?
