How active are Chinese, uh, investors, uh, Chinese, uh, funds, uh, getting on the ground, and are they showing a lot of interest in, in, in investing in, in the Noske Fund?

Lexi NovitskeGUEST
Look, it's been an interesting, um, dynamic to watch because for quite some time, Chinese investors were, were quiet, but they were building a couple of massive platforms, um, first focused on hardware, uh, transition, which is probably Nigeria's biggest, uh, certainly cell phone devices, but they've expanded into other hardware asset classes as well.

Lexi NovitskeGUEST
We have then seen that evolution kind of play out in more the tech, especially fintech layers.

Lexi NovitskeGUEST
So look, Chinese investors have been, um, really investing for a long time on the African continent, but a lot of times behind the scenes.

Lexi NovitskeGUEST
So I think their, their first rollout within Nigeria, within the technology space was in hardware, um, with Transition and Huawei, which now are hu-huge brand names within the Nigeria tech ec-ecosystem.

How is that playing out on the ground here in Africa and in Nigeria, uh, in particular? What, what, what are you seeing? Um, are the Americans as active on the ground as they, as they were historically? And, and if not, what's, what does that, what does that mean for, uh, technology investment in, uh, in this market, and what does it mean for America?
