How did you end up there?

I was just talking about this morning.
8:01
I began my work life in retail.
8:04
I was a buyer for a number of years.

That began to feel like a dead end for me, and I went back to school to get my master's in human development.

And my focus at that time, the question I was asking was: How do people become leaders? How do people flourish? What sets them apart? I was a psych major way back when, so I've always been fascinated around the how of being human and what helps people be well.

And so I went back, got a certificate in addition to my master's in community and spirituality, and then found my way into the nonprofit sector, particularly the grant-making side.
