Are you able to share with the listeners what you found, like, you know, the top kind of three results from this latest study?
22:00
Yeah.
22:01
So we gave the study the title Building Healthy Beginnings because we, as Nicole said, know that the midwives tend to – be whether it's just labour and birth that women see a midwife, maybe if they've got an obstetrician, but every pregnant woman more often than not will see a midwife.
22:21
And so they have this really unique role.
22:23
And I guess the first thing that we discovered through our conversations was the clear messaging that the midwives understand the role of mental health in relation to the experience of how they journey through pregnancy.
22:41
So whilst Nicole said that they are recognising a woman's status, if you like, based on her screening, The ongoing relational care that midwives provide subtly, you know, there's a thread of acknowledgement to how you are alongside the physical health monitoring that they'll do.
23:02
So, for example, when you come to antenatal clinic, you know, there'll be conversations about how are you? You know, what's your week been like? You know, if you've got other children at home and the midwife is aware of that, she might say, you know, how is your son? How's your daughter? Are they back to school? It's the school holidays.
